Former CBA mobile lender found not guilty

Mr Andrew Cameron, a former mobile lender for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), has been found not guilty by a jury of one count of the common law offence of conspiracy to defraud, after a six-week trial in the Victorian County Court.

Mr. Cameron was charged with conspiring with another person to defraud his employer, CBA, by providing a range of false documents and other information in support of home loan applications (18-305MR).

The matter was prosecuted by the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions on behalf of ASIC.
